Twilight actress Ashley Greene joins Miley Cyrus film

According to Borys Kit (Hollywood Reporter) – Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” movies, and “Hung” star Thomas Jane are in negotiations to join Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore in an English-language remake of a French comedy.

“LOL” centers on a teenaged girl (Cyrus) who is dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend (George Finn) while her divorcee mother (Moore) struggles to move on with her life.

Greene will play a high school bad girl, and Jane will be Cyrus’ father. Additionally Ashley Hinshaw (“Fringe”) will play Cyrus’ best friend, while Douglas Booth has already been cast as Cyrus’ love interest.

Liza Azuelos, who directed the 2008 original, is shooting the remake for Mandate Pictures, the company behind “Juno.”

According to TVGuide, “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus fans are used to getting the best of both worlds, as the theme song goes, after watching the 17-year-old songstress juggle her TV and music career for four years. But soon viewers will be singing a very different tune as the show prepares to premiere its fourth, and final, season.

Hannah Montana Forever, premiering on Sunday, July 11 at 8/7c, follows student-by-day, pop-star-by-night Miley Stewart as she and her dad and brother relocate from their Malibu beach house to their new ranch.”

So after all the hoopla with the pictures, playboy offer and all the other fun stuff going on with Miley, it appears that the ratings have started to sag some. Here is the report that was on Finditt this morning…

According to reports, ratings of the hit Disney show ‘Hannah Montana’ have dropped following a scandal surrounding the show’s star Miley Cyrus. Cyrus posed for Vanity Fair magazine and is under fire for the provocative photos in which she appears to be topless.

According to the Nielsen Company, the show has been hit with a 14% decline in viewers since the photo scandal, bumping it down from it’s number one spot.

Cyrus, 15, stars as Hannah Montana. Montana is a high school student who leads a secret double life as a pop star.

I don’t know – to me, the core of Miley’s audience is still in tact and won’t go anywhere – what do you think?

Ok, so we all know what happens with miley,hannah montana and jake ryan. When miley told jake she was hannah, i thought it was miley’s dream or something, but when i found out it wasn’t, i had no idea what was going to happen next. I honestly thought that miley and jake would last because, after all, they did make quite a cute couple. Overall, i didn’t really like the ending of the jake ryan episodes, even though jake promised to keep miley’s secret after they broke up.
