The husky-voiced brunette, who is well-spoken and overly polite - and earned $US3.5 million last year - sounds more like a woman of 30 than a teenager.
Observers are even criticising the star of Disney’s Hannah Montana for growing up too quickly, but Cyrus is quick to jump to her own defence.
“I’m growing up at the pace that I would any other way,” she tells Insider in her only Australian interview.

I bought a Hannah Montana Singing doll for my daughter whom is 7 yrs old for easter and just saw on the news the next day that these Hannah Montana Toys from china are high with lead toxin. Is this true?? If so what do I do with the doll and where do I get a refund for I won’t let my daughter now play with this just 2 days after Easter. Happy Easter, it wasn’t for her. IS China trying to kill us or what? I will no longer ever buy anything from China and I also want my money returned upon this purchase. If this doll didn’t contain lead my daughter would be in Heaven playing with it . Thanks Concerned Mother
