Wow, Jean Henegan from Ticket News is reporting that there is now a Bill being considered in regard to all the Hannah Montana ticket hype.. here’s an excerpt..
Under Comrie’s proposed bill, publicly funded venues would be required to hold 40 percent of their seats for individual consumers. The consumers would then be required to pick up their tickets in person or agree to sign a statement declaring that the tickets would be for their own personal use. Connecticut’s Attorney General Richard Blumenthal recently proposed similar legislation in that state.

Also included is a bonus DVD featuring two live video performances from the “Best of Both Worlds” concert tour –”Rock Star” (Hannah Montana) and “Start All Over” (Miley Cyrus) — as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the sold-out concert tour.
“We have promised to bring our customers fantastic Hannah Montana merchandise at the most affordable prices throughout the year,” said Janet Bareis, marketing vice president for Wal-Mart. “This new CD/DVD will also be accompanied by new and exclusive merchandise for spring, just in time for Easter and Spring Break.”
Last month, Wal-Mart announced its commitment as “the Hannah Montana Headquarters” to bring a variety of more than 140 Hannah Montana-inspired products to its stores and Walmart.com, including apparel and footwear, handbags, cosmetics, bedding, room decor, games, and music. The new line appeals to young girls looking for on-trend casual and athletic-inspired styles as well as accessories and decor. Free shipping through Site to Store is available on many Hannah Montana-inspired products at Walmart.com, where fans also can purchase and download the new MP3 album beginning March 11.
