Like most little girls, Brooke Shields’s 4-year-old daughter, Rowan Henchy, “is obsessed with Hannah Montana,” her mom tells PEOPLE.

The difference is, the tot actually got to rub shoulders with Miley Cyrus, who plays the Disney Channel heroine – because Shields guest-starred on an episode in which she plays the title character’s deceased mom, who comes back from the dead to comfort Miley/Hannah.

Rowan, whose dad is Shields’s husband, TV writer-producer Chris Henchy, “was so excited she got to go to a taping of it,” Shields, 42, said at a dinner hosted by Julianne Moore and Coach leather goods president Reed Krakoff for artist Hunt Slonem and his book Pleasure Palaces. Read full story >>

Soaring black market prices for tickets to see pop idol Hannah Montana have enraged parents

We have all seen the recent flurry about the rising ticket prices for our star, but wow, it’s getting quite out of control I would say. The secondary market has sky-rocketed for Hannah Montana tickets in recent weeks. The officially priced at $25-$65 for a show on Monday in Seattle were for sale on one major private on-line ticket brokerage for between $163-$393. The seats near the stage for the November 7, 2008 performance in Los Angeles were $2,427 each. This is absolutely amazing, and a bit sickening. If you have been able to get tickets, how much did you have to pay?

Pop teen icon Hannah Montana is in Salt Lake City. The first of her two sold out concerts happened Friday night at the Energy Solutions Arena.

Around the country, her shows are selling out faster than The Police, Bruce Springsteen and Justin Timberlake. In Memphis, TN her show sold out in 8 minutes. Outside of Atlanta, GA at the Gwinnett Center, they were gone in 4 minutes. At the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, they were gobbled up in 3 minutes.

Here in Utah many parents said they were online recently when tickets went on sale but they weren’t able to buy even one ticket. So some people who wanted to get their kids into the ESA were paying a premium.

Tickets on eBay were going for as much as $500 a piece. For her concert in Nashville, TN next month we found someone in Sandy who wanted almost $4000 dollars for four tickets.

Near show time at the ESA, scalpers and others trying to unload tickets were asking for as much $100 each. Most people we talked to who bought their tickets outside the arena said they paid just above face value.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus had to sing for coffee when she discovered she’d lost her credit cards recently. The teen sensation was out shopping last month when she realized she had no way of paying for anything, so she performed an impromptu set in a Starbucks coffee shop in Los Angeles.

She explains, “I lost my credit cards that I had just gotten and I was learning responsibility and how to take care of it and I had no money and I really wanted to go shopping. So I played at Starbucks and I put my guitar (case) open - and I made $7, so I got me a Starbucks.”

Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has demanded documents from five ticket-sales Web sites in an investigation into whether a quick sellout of a ”Hannah Montana” concert violated scalping laws.

Venues for the 54-date tour by 14-year-old Miley Cyrus, the star of the Disney Channel show, sold out in as little as four minutes and scalpers are getting four to five times the face value, creating a torrent of complaints from frustrated parents. A single ticket for the show in Charlotte, N.C., sold for $2,565.

McDaniel issued a consumer alert Sept. 21 cautioning parents to research who was selling them the tickets before buying them. The Kansas City, Mo., City Council also has said it would look into the sales.

Gabe Holmstrom, a spokesman for McDaniel’s office, said the attorney general’s office is focusing on whether ticket brokers used computer software to manipulate ticket purchases and essentially cut in line on the Ticketmaster Web site to buy large quantities of tickets.

McDaniel is also investigating whether fictitious tickets are being listed on those sites just to determine whether consumers would buy tickets at higher prices.

McDaniel gave the companies 20 days to respond.

A spokeswoman for ticketliquidator.com, one of the Web sites targeted, said the company had no comment. McDaniel also demanded the documents from StubHub.com, a ticket-reselling subsidiary of eBay Inc.

Sean Pate, a spokesman for San Francisco-based StubHub, said the company would cooperate with McDaniel.

”What’s often mistaken about our marketplace is that we procure and price tickets when, to the contrary, we simply provide a secure and managed online marketplace for those who wish to sell tickets they possess,” Pate said.

After a lot of thought and time consuming searching I’ve finally found the perfect site in which you can watch every single hannah montana episode as they come out, they are the full versions and perfect quality, the only downfall is that it will cost you about $10 bucks which can be paid through PayPal, Credit Card, Ect…

The upside is that for only $10 bucks you can watch up to 50 full version episdoes which is by far the absolute best price I’ve ever found for any TV show online, I’ve thought about placing these full version videos on this site for you to all watch for free but with legal issues this site would get shut down in no time at all and that is just not an option.

The website is called TV-Video and as I’ve said I’m a member and the price is extremely cheap considering cable these days costs over $50 bucks a month, you can’t complain about the quality.

Also I’ve been looking for free alternatives to this and I’ve found some sites where you can watch other shows for free but not Hannah Montana, it seems that Disney is keeping this show under lock and key pretty well.
